After you submit this form, feel free to send any electronic copies
of photo(s) on which you are considering to base the portrait. If needed,
I can provide my expert advice as to which photo would be perfect to
use for the painting.
*** TERMS OF ESTIMATE. The estimate will include
the final cost of painting, shipping and handling of the portrait, in
addition to a rough time estimate. The artist will retain copyright
rights to the painting. The estimate nor the final purchase of the portrait
will include the transfer of copyright ownership of the painting, unless
specifically requested to do so and terms have been agreed upon. The
client should own and/or have the copyright to the photo(s) on which
the portrait is based, or the picture should be in the public domain.
The client agrees to allow the artist to use said photo(s) for self-advertising
purposes only. Once an estimate is agreed upon, a fifty percent deposit
is needed to initiate an order. If the order is canceled just prior
to shipping due to dissatisfaction of the final painting, thirty percent
of the deposit will be refunded.
